St Kitts Cruise Port direct to Pinney’s Beach
Sit back with an included beverage as your boat transfers you smoothly from the marina near St Kitts Cruise Terminal direct to Pinney’s Beach, Nevis. There, meet your knowledgeable guide as you begin your nature walk on the lower slopes of Nevis Peak, the island’s 3282 ft high dormant volcano.
Mountravers Estate was a sugar plantation in the 18th century, owned by the Pinney family, (the beach is named after them). It was sold in 1815 but is still privately owned. The trail winds through the rainforest that has reclaimed land once devoted to sugar. As you walk, enjoy stunning vistas of Nevis West coast and neighboring islands. The forest is home to wild vervet monkeys, tree frogs and a rich variety of birdlife. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you descent the moderate slopes to lunch and a welcome drink at a beachside restaurant. After lunch, claim your beach chair and shared umbrella as you indulge in some well-earned relaxation. All too soon, your boat will be waiting to pick you up from the beach and return you to St Kitts.
